In lieu of a birthday party this year, Xan and I negotiated for her and one friend to have a Girls Day in the city... movie, lunch, shopping, playing and, of course, a manicure and pedicure!
Xan chose her best friend, Maddie... their personalities are so alike, it is scary!... and we had an awesome day!
First some shopping...

... then off to the movies...
... 'Despicable Me'... it was very funny!!
... and now the much anticipated mani and pedi...
... then MORE shopping!!
... and eating...
... and SHOPPING!!
... then a bit of 'Intencity' fun
... (check out the crazy eyes!!... those gators didn't stand a chance!!)
... and MORE eating!
... hmmm... like I was ever going to be able to keep them away from the Mirrors! LOL!
Believe it or not... what I asked for was one more photo before we left... what I got, was this -
... finally heading home!
time to drop Maddie off... not exactly a popular decision!
... change of plans... Xan is staying over!!
... and I was going home to sleep - for a week!!
